Dubai, UAE – February 5, 2026 – MetaWorldX and Tadoom formalized a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 5, 2026 during a signing ceremony hosted at the Consulate General of Canada in Dubai, with the participation and support of Canada’s Consul General, Tracy Reynolds.
The agreement builds on the momentum generated during the World Governments Summit week and reinforces both organizations’ shared commitment to advancing digital twin adoption across the region. The MoU establishes a framework for joint business development and coordinated go-to-market efforts focused on smart city and smart community initiatives, with an initial emphasis on Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Raza Jafri, Founder and CEO of MetaWorldX, attended the ceremony alongside Abdulaziz Jaafar, Chief IoT & Smart Cities at Tadoom. The signing followed discussions with the Consulate regarding the importance of strengthening bilateral innovation ties and supporting Canadian technology companies as they expand in the Gulf region. The presence of the Consul General highlighted the role of Canada’s diplomatic network in enabling trusted partnerships, accelerating market access, and fostering collaboration between Canadian innovators and regional leaders in digital transformation.
The partnership builds on prior cooperation between the companies, and aims to accelerate market access, opportunity development, and deployment pathways for next-generation urban intelligence solutions. Through closer coordination, the organizations intend to pursue opportunities where advanced simulation, real-time data integration, and immersive operational visibility can support governments, developers, and infrastructure operators.
